My dad’s a techie so i’ve been asking him.

My desktop crashed and black screened, restarted it and that went no where, after awhile tried to load up a back up and that also black screened, then went to do a hard reset which also black screened.

I’ll be restarting it tomorrow morning and downloading a hard copy of Windows 8 (god save me) that i have .

Can you get to any screen that allows you to click ‘Restart’?

If so, hold down Shift when you click restart. If you’ve had Windows 10 for less than 30 days, revert to previous version and let it take it’s time reverting.

Helped out Steve Lehto with rolling his machine back a while ago.

Just go to Windows 10 media creation tool and download Windows 10 there and reinstall. Don't go back to 8.
